Destiny 2 weekly reset for October 24, 2017

Bungie has flicked the Destiny 2 weekly reset switch once again, ushering in a fresh set of challenges and Milestones for Guardians to tackle between now and Halloween.

The Destiny 2 reset takes place every Tuesday morning at 10.00am BST, and reshuffles things such as the Nightfall and various Milestone activities. As such, players can complete these new events to earn rare Engrams for precious loot each week.

Bungie recently confirmed that Destiny 2’s first year will be divided into various seasons, each one introducing fresh content into the mix. Among the new additions planned include fresh Iron Banner rewards and a new Winter-themed aesthetic for the Tower.

Looking ahead, Destiny 2’s first slice of DLC, Curse of Osiris, will be available in December 2017. The next major expansion will roll out in spring of next year, although we imagine this won’t be the last major content addition for the MMO-shooter.

Interestingly, Bungie admitted during an interview last week that it is starting to slowly look beyond the Destiny franchise to its next project.

Nightfall

The Nightfall this week takes the form of The Arm’s Dealer, and comes complete with modifiers Torrent and Time Warp: Zero Hour.

  • Six: a crashed colony ship, an interspecies war… Cayde-6 got that adventure he wanted. Go save him from it.
  • Fury: help Ikora use the Warmind on Io to learn more about the Almighty—and turn the tide of the war.
  • Sacrilege: since the loss of her Light, Ikora has many questions—and she’s not leaving Io without answers.

Flashpoint

Guardians will need to head to IO this week, where you’ll need to complete Public Events. Be sure to grab Cayde-6’s treasure maps before you head out so you can grab all the extra loot.
