U.K. retail giant GAME has confirmed that Bungie’s Destiny is the company’s most pre-ordered new IP ever.
The ambitious science-fiction shooter launches at midnight, though the servers have just gone live and some gamers who received their copies early are already diving right into the action.
Said GAME, "We look forward to welcoming a huge population of fans into our stores at midnight. September 9th 2014 will be a pivotal moment for gamers all over the world, and we couldn’t be more excited to be part of delivering what is a ground-breaking gaming experience.”
Over 300 of GAME’s stores will be opening their doors for Destiny’s release tonight.
