Destiny: The Taken King is full of secrets. There’s hidden chests, keys required to open those chests and plenty of secret missions to unlock.
One of those missions is when you pick up the Skyburners Command Beacon in the Dreadnought. This is a multi-tiered mission. In order to complete the set of quests check out our guide or watch the video below for a walkthrough.
– Kill enemies in the Dreadnought Patrol area, just outside the entrance to the base. One of them will eventually drop the Skyburners Command Beacon
– Head inside the base and immediately take a left up the small set of stairs and activate the console.
– Head outside the base and wait for an enemy ship to land. There’s two or three waves of enemies you’ll need to kill before the boss arrives. Kill the boss and he’ll drop the Skyburners deployment codes.
– Head to the Mausoleum. You need to jump through the window of the big green ship which can be found when you enter the area from the Hull Breach and take a sharp left behind you up the hill.
– Activate the console in this room.
– Kill enemies outside of the ship to collect Slug Screws.
– You’ll have about 1.30 minutes to now head back to Hull Breach and scan an engine. Just follow the marker on the map and run all the way.
– When scanned, you’ll need to head back the Mausoleum. Follow the markers to find the final boss.
– Kill the boss and pick up the Security Pass
– This allows you to unlock a door back at the green ship in the Mausoleum. It’s located in the same room as the console, on the right-hand side.
– Open the door and collect the loot from the chest.
