Bungie has flicked the reset switch on Destiny’s game world for yet another week, which means Guardians have some fresh challenges to tuck into for the next seven days.
First up is the Nightfall, which this week takes the form of the Shield Brothers; one of Destiny’s ‘new’ strikes introduced in the last major expansion, The Taken King. Modifiers present include Epic, Solar Burn, Juggler, Berserk and Specialist.
The Court of Oryx has been refreshed to include the Tier 3 boss, Balwur, while the King’s Fall raid challenge this week comes in the shape of the fearsome Warpriest.
Destiny was released on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 back in September 2014, and is the product of former Halo developer, Bungie. The game received polarizing reviews at launch, though quickly built a strong following among gamers and proved a commercial success nonetheless.
The game was supported by three major expansion: The Dark Below, House of Wolves and the aforementioned The Taken King. In recent months, Bungie has rolled out time-based events such as the Sparrow Racing League and Crimson Days to keep players entertained.
Publisher Activision announced earlier this year however that not only will another full expansion be released for Destiny later this year, but 2017 will see the launch of a full-fledged sequel, Destiny 2.
