Bungie has rolled out another Destiny weekly reset for those of you still engrossed in the shared-world shooter, bringing with it the latest edition of its hard-as-nails PvP arena, the Iron Banner.
As always, Iron Banner will run for approximately one week, so you have until Tuesday, July 11 to get in on the action and earn some rare loot. Check out what’s also on offer in regards to the Nightfall and Strikes below.

Bungie announced recently that it isn’t planning any further Destiny updates for the foreseeable future, as all effort is being focused on the upcoming Destiny 2. The highly anticipated first-person shooter will be released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 6, 2017, with a PC version arriving in October. Despite this, gamers will still be able to play the original Destiny alongside the sequel, as Bungie isn’t shutting it down anytime soon.
Destiny 2 will introduce a number of new features into the mix, chief among which includes a huge open-world ripe with new side quests to tackle, known here as Adventures. In addition, the multiplayer suite has also been overhauled to focus on 4v4 matches, and there’s a host of new exotic weapons and armor to hunt down. Your gear and loot won’t carry over to Destiny 2 however, which ties in with the narrative; the Tower has been attacked, with Guardians losing all their equipment in the process.
In terms of performance, the game is a noticeable step up from its predecessor, although Bungie has admitted that the PS4 Pro lacks the power to run the game at a consistent 60fps. Those of you looking to get a taste of the action before release should read up on how to access the Destiny 2 beta.
