Destiny 2 is scheduled for release on PS4, PC, and Xbox One in September 2017, with gamers able to take the alien shooter follow-up for a test drive this summer with the planned Destiny 2 open beta. In addition, Bungie has confirmed that it will be offering a variety of different versions of the hotly anticipated title, including the standard, collector’s, digital deluxe edition, and limited edition.
Bungie has also set a date for the first Destiny 2 gameplay footage, with the former Halo developer hosting a dedicated livestream event for the game next week. The studio has also promised a ‘continuous calendar of events’ for the sequel in regards to post-launch support, and there’s rumors that Destiny 2 may drop the infamous light level system entirely.
