Destiny’s Xur, Agent of the Nine, has returned to the tower again for another weekend of wheelin’ and dealin’ with local Guardians. Better get those Strange Coins handy.
Where is Xur?
This week, the mysterious merchant has set up shop near The Speaker, which is located to the extreme left side of the tower from your spawn point. As always, he’ll remain there until early Sunday morning.

Destiny 2 release confirmed for 2017, Rise of Iron coming next month
Destiny was released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 back in September 2014. Despite a lukewarm reception from critics, the game quickly built a loyal fanbase, which was bolstered by the release of expansions such as The Dark Below, House of Wolves, and The Taken King.
The shared-world shooter’s next major expansion, Destiny: Rise of Iron, is scheduled to roll out for current-generation systems on September 20. The DLC won’t be made available for PS3 and Xbox 360, as Bungie is planning on cooling support for last-gen versions of the game.
Recent months have seen the release of numerous time-based events, such as Festival of the Lost, Sparrow Racing League, and Crimson Days. Reportedly, Bungie is set to continue this trend following the launch of Rise of Iron.
In addition to the new expansion, Destiny will also be receiving a full-fledged sequel at some point in 2017. Nothing much is known about the game at this point, although it has been rumored that the likes of Xur will have a bigger role in the narrative.
