Activision Blizzard has revealed that Diablo III and its various incarnations has sold a whopping 20 million copies worldwide.
Speaking during its latest financial call, the publishing giant confirmed the figure includes physical and digital copies of the PC and console release of the action-RPG, as well as the expansion pack, Reaper of Souls.
Michael Morhaime, CEO and President of Activision Blizzard, commented: "We’re looking forward to delivering the expansion content to players on next and current-gen consoles with the release of the Diablo III Ultimate Evil Edition.
"In addition to the Reaper of Souls content, the Ultimate Evil Edition includes all of the updates that we made to the core Diablo III experience on PC, as well as some console-exclusive features that make it even easier and more rewarding for friends to play together."
Diablo 3: Ultimate Edition will be released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 this month. Read our review of the original release of Diablo 3 on PS3 here.
