Codemasters has lifted the hood on the DiRT 5 career mode in a brand new video, confirming players will be able to tuck into five chapters spanning 130 events as you race for success.
DiRT 5 Career Mode Detailed
The game’s career mode will span nine race types and Throwdown challenges, and focuses on the DiRT Series, a global racing event across various disciplines. DiRT 5’s career mode features a star-studded cast, including Troy Baker and Nolan North, and is rounded off by Donut Media’s James Pumphrey and Nolan Skyes.
Career mode is divided into five chapters, offering multiple paths allowing players to choose the events they wish to play. The higher the finish, the more Stamps the player earns, which are needed to unlock the Main Event.
The highly competitive final challenge is all that’s standing in the player’s way to proceed to the next chapter. Also dotted throughout are one-off Throwdown challenges. Once unlocked, players face the ultimate one-on-one challenge against a fierce competitor from the world circuit.
DiRT 5 is scheduled for release on October 9 for PS4, PC, and Xbox One, with Codemasters promising more info on the PS5 and Xbox Series X editions at a later date.
