Square Enix has officially announced Dissidia Final Fantasy NT for PlayStation 4, with the game due for release in 2018. Watch the debut trailer below.

News on Dissidia PS4, the Final Fantasy RPG/fighting game, has been few and far between but with the PlayStation Portable game launching in 2007 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Final Fantasy series, rumors are that the series could be back for the 30th anniversary this year.
What’s interesting is that a 2015 version of Dissidia Final Fantasy from Team Ninja is currently available in Japanese arcades, and is a reboot of the original PSP game. Furthermore, it runs on modified PS4 hardware. Back in 2015 it was reported that Square Enix would likely release a PS4 version once the game had been in the arcades for a year or so.
So far that hasn’t happened, but it looks like there’s a leak. Dissidia Final Fantasy NT box art has just appeared on Amazon, stating that the arcade fighting game will launch in 2018.
