Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is easily the most successful title within the series long history, and Ubisoft plans to keep that momentum going by continuing to support it for a second year, something it has never done before, and according to the publisher, fans will be “surprised” to see what’s in store.
The news comes from Ubisoft’s Q1 earnings call earlier today (July 20), where the chief financial officer Frédérick Duguet says that the upcoming content for the game will be “surprising”, a point he made on multiple occasions according to website VGC.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla already has three expansions we know about, two currently available and one still yet to come, though it will be interesting to really see just how “surprising” the new content set for next year will be.
Whatever this new content is, the reaction from players will be the determining factor as to whether or not it is actually a surprise or not, though we’ll just have to wait and see.
