Chart-Track has confirmed that DOOM has blasted its way to the top of the U.K. All Format Chart, despite having debuted six weeks ago.
Sales of the gory first-person shooter rocketed 57 percent thanks to a £5 discount, which resulted in it booting Overwatch off the top spot and awarding developer id Software its first no.1 since 2004’s DOOM 3.
Meanwhile, PlayStation 4-exclusive Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End continues to grab hold of third place, with FIFA 16 and Grand Theft Auto V making up the rest of the Top 5.
