A Trophy bug for the PS5 version of DOOM: The Dark Ages has been ironed out by developer idSoftware in the game’s latest update. The official patch notes for DOOM: The Dark Ages update 1.006 can be seen below, although keep in mind this is just a hotfix for that specific Trophy bug.

DOOM: The Dark Ages | Berserker Trophy PlayStation 5 Hotfix is live. This resolves the issue some users have been experiencing where they were unable to unlock the Berserker Achievement/Trophy upon obtaining the necessary upgrades.
DOOM: The Dark Ages was released for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S on May 15, 2025. Publisher Bethesda announced about a week after the game’s launch that DOOM: The Dark Ages had amassed three million players, making it the biggest ever launch for idSoftware.
The modern DOOM franchise kicked off in 2016 with the self-titled DOOM and was followed by 2019’s excellent DOOM Eternal. Rather than push the narrative forward, DOOM: The Dark Ages takes players back to the beginning, as the game acts as a prequel that takes place between DOOM 64 and DOOM (2016).
