The latest BioWare community post has touched base on the highly anticipated Dragon Age 4, revealing the game’s cast will “have more personality than they have ever had in the past.”
The post lifts the lid on some of the development team member,s including Maciej Kurowski, the game’s Tech Director, who revealed that the tech principles behind Dragon Age 4 involve “having the right tools that best fit our games.
We are always learning and pushing ourselves, and with every game we get better. But we can always improve. I can’t wait to talk more about some of the interesting things we have done on the tech side for Dragon Age. We take characters very seriously and do a lot of work to give them more personality than they have ever had in the past. I can’t say more yet, but we will over time!

There’s not much else in the way of details, although BioWare has teased that Dragon Age 4 is “shaping up to be something amazing.”
Dragon Age 4 is currently in development for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S. Jeff Grubb has previously said that the game is likely to launch in late 2023 at the earliest, but said the project is in good shape all the same.
