At Gamescom today, Electronic Arts’ Peter Moore presented a developer’s diary from BioWare that emphasized the consequences of players’ actions within the upcoming Dragon Age: Inquisition. It also showed behind-the-scenes work alongside some in-game content.
The player will be taking on the role of the head Inquisitor in the fantasy RPG, and as such will have "rights of power." This includes weighty decisions, with an example provided of the choice of whether a village should be destroyed or not.
Stunning scenes were presented to viewers, presumably taken from actual planned sequences but definitely utilizing the in-game engine, alongside typically moody concept art.
Dragon Age: Inquisition will be released in Fall 2014 for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Take a look at the dev diary below.
