EA announced today that Dragon Age: Origins – Awakening expansion pack is set to release on March 16. For those of you who didn’t get enough RPG goodness in the regular game, the expansion will be packed full of all the things we all loved about Dragon Age. One of our favorite additions in the expansion is having the ability to re-spec your character’s abilities.
The expansion includes an increased level cap, new spells, abilities, specializations and items. It will also introduce five new party members, which you can either take for the ride, or leave behind and continue with your original rolling crew.
The story picks up just as you’d imagine, following the events of the regular game. You’ll be set in your new role as Grey Warden Commander and tasked with rebuilding the order of the Grey Wardens. Of course, you’ll have to deal with those pesky darkspawn.
The expansion will set you back $39.99 USD and will be available on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
