Dragon Age producer drops a big tease on Twitter, but what could it mean?

Dragon Age developer BioWare may be beavering away on a new project, according to a mysterious teaser posted by the fantasy RPG’s producer, Mark Darrah.

The brief, 13-second video doesn’t give us much to go on, depicting a red book with what appears to be the image of a castle and a wolf. Opening the book, Darrah then reveals the text ‘Internal Use Only’ accompanied by ‘Property of BioWare/EA.’

Darrah also posted the caption, “Oooh what’s this? Oh sorry.” That’s about all we have to go on, unfortunately. What a tease.

Interestingly, the Tweet comes not long after Darrah quizzed users on the social media platform if they’d be interested in a turn-based/tactics Dragon Age title. Whether or not the above video pertains to a new type of Dragon Age offering remains to be seen.

The latest entry in the critically acclaimed series, Dragon Age: Inquisition, launched on last and current-generation consoles back in fall 2014. It also gave BioWare its biggest video game launch to date.

Despite the series’ success, EA has yet to confirm any new plans for Dragon Age, although it has said that there is ‘huge opportunity’ for the band moving forward. Could we see a Dragon Age IV or perhaps a spin-off in the works? It’s possible, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
