In a surprise announcement by Square Enix earlier today at Sony’s pre-TGS conference, Dragon Quest Heroes was announced for PlayStation 4.
The game is being developed by Tecmo Koei’s Omega Force and appears to be a cooperative action-RPG or musou game in the style of Dynasty Warriors. The game is due out in 2015 in Japan, and seeing as how the Warriors franchises are popular in the West, there is a decent chance it will get localized.
Kou Shibusawa, the legendary figure behind Tecmo Koei, was on hand for the reveal to talk about the game, as well announcing the new silver “Metal Slime Edition” PS4.
