The first gameplay teaser trailer for Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake has been revealed by Square Enix today, confirming the game will launch in 2025 for PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X/S.

Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake continues the narrative established in Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake, which chronologically is set before the first two games. This latest batch of remakes, which will be packaged together in as inline release, is being overseen by Team Asano, and utilises pixel art characters with 3D backgrounds, hence the term HD-2D.
