Sony Interactive Entertainment has released PS Portal update 7.3.0, which comes with a few notable additions including the ability to toggle 3D audio on/off while playing a game. As expected, there’s the usual performance and stability improvements added, with full details available in the patch notes below. A recent update for the PS Portal included changes to support long-term battery life, which you can read more about here.
PS Portal is reportedly getting an OLED version at some point, with hardware insider Kepler_L2 stating back in January that Sony was working on a ‘another version’ of the device for 2026. Earlier this week, a filing by Sony with Wi-Fi Alliance indicated that the PS Portal OLED version is indeed in the pipeline.
