Sony Interactive Entertainment has released a new update for the PlayStation Portal, with the main feature being changes to how the device changes in order to support long-term battery health. Sony announced a price increase for the PS Portal earlier this alongside the PS5 and PS5 Pro, with the device now retailing for $249.99/£219.99.
- This update introduces changes to how your PS Portal charges in order to support the long-term battery health of your device. After updating, your device will charge to 80% by default. You can change the charge limit at any time in Settings > System > Battery.
