The official Rock Band 3 site has confirmed that fan favourite DragonForce guitar shredder ‘Through the Fire and Flames’ will be added to the music sim’s extensive track list next week.
The tune has garnered a reputation among fans as being an exceedingly tough bugger to pull off following its inclusion in Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. Its release on Rock Band 3 will be supplemented by another DragonForce ditty, namely Operation Ground and Pound.
Elsewhere, gamers will also be able to snap up the Days of Peace Pack, which includes tracks from Jefferson Airplane, Blood, Sweat & Tears and Santana.

All tracks will be made up for grabs on March 29 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii. As for pricing, expect to part with £0.99/€1.49/200 Wii Points/160 Microsoft Points for individual tracks, while the Days of Peace Pack will drain you of £2.49/€3.99/550 Wii Points/440 Microsoft Points.
The DragonForce tunes, meanwhile, can be augmented with Pro Guitar and Pro Bass expansions for an additional cost of £0.59/€0.79/100 Wii Points/80 Microsoft Points.
