Dragon’s Dogma 2 On PS5 Pro Will Feature Better Framerates, Improved Resolution And New Ray Tracing Features

PS5 Pro is due out in little more than a month, and now that PlayStation has shown most of (if not all) of its hand with yesterdays State Of Play, we’re starting to get more of a look at how this mid-gen refresh improves on games we’ve already seen on PS5.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is one of the biggest games of 2024, despite the fact that its original launch version on PS5 did not perform the way fans would’ve wanted.

That changes on PS5 Pro, according to Capcom in a PlayStation Blog post, where the studio confirms that the RPG will feature better framerates, new ray-tracing features and an improved resolution thanks to PSSR (PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution) and the power of the PS5 Pro.

“Dragon’s Dogma 2 will benefit from the power of the PS5 Pro, PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) and new ray tracing technology, allowing improved framerates,” writes Capcom’s community and social media manger Joseph Bustos.
