Dragon’s Dogma II PS5 Pro Enhanced Confirmed, Will Also Be Updated For All Platforms To Reduce Crashes

Capcom has announced that Dragon’s Dogma II will not only be updated for PS5 Pro Enhanced features, but will receive a patch on all formats.

The critically acclaimed fantasy-RPG is one of many titles that will be enhanced for Sony’s high-end console, which is set to offer “a gaming experience that takes advantage of PS5 Pro’s features.” That’s about all we know so far regarding Drago’s Dogma II, but no doubt fans are hoping it will offer 60 FPS in 4K resolution on PS5 Pro.

We will soon be releasing an update for all platforms that will further improve CPU load, reduce crashes and bring additional adjustments. Further details will be announced as soon as they are ready.

The PS5 Pro is scheduled to launch on November 7, 2024 and will retail for $699.99/£699.99. The console offers a wealth of improvements over the standard PS5, and includes a Game Boost feature that is compatible with over 8,500 PS4 games to enhance their performance.

Unlike the original PS5, which offered a choice between a console with a disc drive or digital-only media, the PS5 Pro will not come with a disc drive, so you will have to purchase the Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive separately.

Dragon’s Dogma II was released for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S in March 2024, and you can read our full review here.
