DRIVECLUB, the upcoming PlayStation 4-exclusive racer from developer Evolution Studios, has gone gold, the company has announced.
The hotly anticipated title was originally scheduled to ship alongside Sony’s new home console last November. However, numerous delays saw the title ultimately pushed back until October of this year.
Having now reached gold status, DRIVECLUB is on track for its launch on October 7 in North America, October 10 in the UK, and October 8 in the rest of Europe.
Sony yesterday unveiled details on the game’s Season Pass, which offers a 60 percent saving on DLC. The new Mercedes vehicle will also be given free to DRIVECLUB players ahead of the car’s real-life launch next year.
