After a three month delay, Section 8: Prejudice is set to deploy on the PlayStation Network on July 26 in North America and July 27 in Europe. There is new content in the PlayStation 3 version, perhaps as a ‘sorry for the delay.’ The PS3 exclusive content includes additional multiplayer modes, Assault and Skirmish, and PlayStation+ subscribers will get some exclusive content, as well.
Other content in the standard PS3 version includes the Blitz Armor Pack and Overdrive Map pack for those who purchase the game in the first week. The first 1,000 PS+ subscribers to purchase the game will also net Hunter Armor and a free copy of the original Section 8.
Section 8: Prejudice features a five-hour campaign, four multiplayer game modes (including offline bot support), customizable weapons and equipment loadouts, unloackables, and, of course, jetpacks. The game will cost $14.99 USD.
