DualSense CFI-ZCT2W Revision Reportedly Improves Battery Life, Is Packaged With New PS5 Slim CFI-2116

Sony has reportedly started rolling out a new revision of the DualSense controller, known as CFI-ZCT2W, which offers a number of improved features over the original PS5 pad including a boost to battery life.

As reported by X user and modder Modyfikator89, the CFI-ZCT2W includes the BDM-060 board and introduces longer play time for users by removing components such as a secondary microphone, as well as optimisation of electronics. This iteration of the DualSense is easily identified on the back of the packaging, and is reportedly also included in all PS5 Pro bundles (CFI-7121), the new PS5 Slim (CFI-2116) and new colour batches at retailers.

The DualSense is the latest evolution of Sony’s DualShock controller and launched alongside the PS5 in November 2020, bringing key innovations such as haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.
