Dyad may be one of the best sounding PSN games ever

Dyad looks like a trippy experience any music geek needs to check out. The PlayStation Network game also looks like one of the more confusing offerings to grace Sony’s online store, but at least it sounds interesting. There’s a new gameplay video below, which shows off one of the later levels in Dyad.

Dyad is an interactive music game. Shawn McGrath, creator of Dyad, describes the music as reactive, mixed dynamically on the fly, and completely based on how the player interacts with it. In a sense, he says, you compose each level through intense and interactive gameplay. You’ll have to check out the video to see what he means.

You can check out three linear tracks from the game over at the PlayStation Blog. The game will run at 60fps, 1080p and looks pretty interesting. Imagine this in 3D! More details to come soon.
