Initial details have revealed that the game will take around 10 hours to finish, and will feature twice the amount of puzzles as DYING: Reborn, and players will find hundreds of items that can be used to help overcome them. DYING: 1983 is described as a grim-themed sequel and includes a story full of ‘strange elements’ and takes place in a world close to reality, but still completely different in every way.

DYING: 1983 will be featured in playable form at WePLAY 2020 from November 14 – 15 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Centre.

Dying: Reborn is available on the PS4 and will be playable on the PS5 via backwards compatibility. Here’s the blurb to bring you up to speed:

DYING: Reborn is a dark, horror-themed puzzle game that creates a unique first-person room escape experience. Examine, collect and use items to solve a variety of creative puzzle types to escape each spooky room, feeling shivers down your spine at every turn.
