Dying 1983 PS5 DualSense Features Revealed By NEKCOM

Speaking during an interview with Gaming Bolt, NEKCOM shed light on some of the PS5 DualSense features for the upcoming Dying: 1983. The team had previously said that it opted for PS5 as the launch platform for the game due to the capabilities of the controller.

We designed the gameplay for the new features of the gamepad exclusively, which could make players immersed in the experience better. For instance, when the player uses the “senses enhancement” potion, the gamepad will shake slightly to replicate the feedback, so that the player may feels like their sense of touch is enhanced.

Dying: 1983 was previously released for Steam and is the follow-up to Dying: Reborn, which is out for PS4 and can be played on Sony’s new console via backwards compatibility. Dying: 1983 is slated for release on PS5 in Q1 2021.
