Dying Light 2 Update 1.5 To Feature Balanced, VRR Mode On PS5

Techland has announced that Dying Light 2 update 1.5 will bring a number of key features to the parkour-fused zombie sequel, including a Balanced and VRR mode for the PS5 version of the game.

The Balanced Mode will allow for a target of 60 FPS in 4K resolution, while the VRR Mode offers 1080p with an unlocked frame rate.

The latest major update for Dying Light 2 was released back in June 2022, and added a number of key features such as Photo Mode, Rank System, and more.

Dying Light 2 was released for the PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One in February 2022, and you can read our full verdict here. The game will receive five years worth of post-launch support, following in the footsteps of its predecessor, which had a robust DLC slate.

While Dying Light 3 has yet to be announced, the team have said that a possible sequel should make players feel more powerful.
