The latest issue of Famitsu, via Gematsu, has revealed that Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires is heading to PlayStation Vita, and it’s coming with an all new co-op mode.
Officially dubbed as “Raid Scenario” mode, players will be able to take advantage of PS Vita’s ad-hoc feature in this new co-operative game mode. This high difficulty game mode is designed to be extremely challenging and encourages players to work together to overcome extremely powerful enemies. This new mode will also allow players to freely configure their weapons, plans, and items.
A free “Co-Op Version” is also planned for release to allow friends to fight together, even if they don’t both own the full game.
The PS Vita version of Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires will also come with all previously released downloadable content currently available on consoles, as well as expanding on its existing online functionality.
Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires has already seen release on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC earlier this year. An official release date has yet to be given for the PlayStation Vita version, or whether we can expect to see it heading west.
