At E3 2019 Bethesda have announced Orion – a range of technological solutions which allows the company to stream their game engines up to 20% faster through services such as Google Stadia, Microsoft XCloud and more importantly, PlayStation Now.
The great thing about Orion is that regardless of how far away you are from a datacentre, you’ll still be able to stream whatever game you are playing without any loss.
DOOM (2016) was shown running on a mobile device at maximum detail without any latency.
People who join the Doomslayers club will able to stream the original DOOM (2016) for free.
With an increasingly streaming focused future on the horizon, solutions like this will be instrumental to smoothing the path between players and that technology. So yeah, more of this please/
