Today in an interview with Media Molecule, IGN got its hands on Media Molecule’s creative forays on the PlayStation Vita, a lighthearted game that takes advantage of all the handheld’s features to create the kind of vibrant universe we have come to expect from the creators of LittleBigPlanet.
Taking advantage of the game’s screen and camera, players must guide a messenger as he attempts to break through a paper-world into the real world — the world of the player. Breaks in the paper will reveal the real world, the camera view from the Vita itself, an interesting and little tried concept a this point. While there aren’t a great deal of details known about the game, the idea is highly creative and could turn out to be one of MM’s most innovative releases.
Gamers can get their hands on Tearway on Octover 22 in North America and October 25 in Europe. The trailer for the autumn release can be found below.
