EA Sports has found itself at the centre of attention over FIFA 21 once again, as it has emerged that an employee of the company reportedly sold FUT cards for as much as €1,000.
The news broke after a Twitter account posted images of an unverified WhatsApp message, which appears to show the employee felling Icon card packages for as much as €750 – €1,000. Another image depicts three Prime Icon Moments cards selling for a whopping €1,700.

For reference, these are some of FIFA 21’s rarest cards and are obviously highly sought after by the game’s community. In fact, they’re so precious that they can go for 10 million coins via FIFA 21’s Transfer Market. They include some of the best performing players with the highest stats, so naturally, folk are eager to get their hands on them.

FIFA 21 was released in October 2020 for PS4, PC and Xbox One, and was later given a PS5 and Xbox Series X/S overhaul.
