EA Sports FC 24 has officially been revealed by EA, the publishers follow up to the FIFA franchise as it can no longer call its annual football-sim titles “FIFA” after separating from the FIFA organization.
The name change alone though likely won’t stop EA Sports FC 24 from hitting record sales numbers the same way every other FIFA title has done year-in-and-year-out, when it launches on September 29, 2023.
Thursday’s reveal had players across the globe tune in for a livestream just to catch the official reveal of gameplay for EA Sports FC 24, which also featured cameos from famous footballers, and the reveal of the cover athlete, Erling Haaland who plays for Manchester City.
EA Sports FC 24 will also bring some new features to the table, so long as you’re playing on a PS5, PC or other current-generation platforms, as the same features won’t be available on PS4 and previous-gen consoles.
One of those features is HyperMotionV tech, that’s able to more accurately reflect actual footballers and their movements and translate that into the game for a more realistic result than was previously possible.
