Electronic Arts has stepped into the ring wielding a brand new EA Sports UFC 5 trailer for you to gawk at, which offers an extensive look at the latest instalment in the much-loved franchise, including the new real impact system and cinematic replays.

EA Sports UFC 5 embraces the power of the Frostbite engine and offers intricately detailed character models, which are brought to life with improved lighting and shadow effects. Grappling has also been enhanced for UFC 5, boasting more transitions and eschewing the mini-games of previous titles.
New Strike animations emulate heavy hitters, professional kickboxers and more – coupled with new motion variations for ground and pound elbows, spinning attacks, body punches and calf kicks. Plus, the Hit Reaction animations and physics during a frenetic fight can initiate clean connection impacts – moments players can feel with next-level immersion during gameplay.
Given the fact EA is really pushing the technical side of things, it may not come as a surprise that EA Sports UFC 5 is only going to be release for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in terms of consoles. There’s no PS4 or Xbox One version of the game, so you’ll have to make down with UFC 4 if you’re playing on last-gen machines. The game is scheduled for release on October 27, 2023 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.
