Echochrome demo coming to Japan next week

Sony Computer Entertainment Japan announced today that it would be bringing a demo of Echochrome to the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable on March 6, 2008.

According to the company’s official website, the PSP version of the demo will be available via the PlayStation Store (PSP/PC), or from Japan’s PlayStation Spot locations. The PS3 demo, meanwhile, will be available to download from the PlayStation Store.

Developed by Sony Japan’s studio, Echochrome is a puzzle game where players must rotate a world comprised of ‘Oscar Reutersvärd’s impossible constructions’, allowing a mannequin figure to safely explore its surroundings.

The full game is due out in the region on March 19. A western release has yet to be determined.
