FromSoftware has revealed that Elden Ring ray tracing is on its way in future updates, meaning that owners of the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions of the game can look forward to some eyeball-popping visuals down the line – not that Elden Ring isn’t already a good-looking game, that is.
The details were tucked away in the notes for Elden Ring update 1.02, which was released yesterday with numerous bug fixes.
Timing for the implementation of ray tracing, which is planned to be supported after the launch, will be revealed in future announcements.
Elden Ring is out today for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. You can read our review in progress here to see what we make of the game so far.
