A smattering of new games are to be added to streaming service PlayStation Now today in Europe. Most notably among them? Bethesda’s humongous RPG The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
The open world role-playing game debuted on PlayStation back in March of 2007 on PS3. It’s success saw Bethesda become a household name for open world RPGs. The release of Fallout 3, New Vegas, and 4, as well as Elder Scrolls sequel Skyrim further cemented that claim.
10 Games Added to PlayStation Now line-up
Oblivion is not alone however. It’s to be joined by post-apocalyptic shooter Rage, and the Dark Souls-esque Bound By Flame among others. The full list of today’s additions is below.
- Bound By Flame
- Binaries
- Aragami
- Pharonic
- Kromaia Ω
- Earth's Dawn
- The Final Station
- Hunted: The Demon's Forge
- Rage
- The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Oblivion joins the likes of Red Dead Redemption, The Last of Us, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and more for an increasingly stellar lineup of streamable games. The PS Now service boasts an impressive roster of more than 450 titles from PS3 and PS4, complete with full trophy support and multiplayer options. Check out the full PlayStation Now list of games!
The service could still do better of course. The current asking price still feels a little high for something that isn’t easily workable for a lot of households. If Sony aren’t going to react yet, then the best hope is that it survives long enough to prove worthwhile to a much larger audience.
