The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will contain same-sex marriages, developer Bethesda has revealed.
Quizzed on Twitter as to why the firm has apparently been keeping mum on the subject lately, Pete Hines, vice president of PR and marketing at Bethesda, replied:
“Not hush hush, just not making a huge deal out of it. You can marry anyone.”
“Sorry, should clarify. Not any NPC, just mean any male or female. Doesn’t matter what you’re playing,” he added.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is due out on PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360 on November 11, 2011.
