The sociopolitical imagery and gripping characterization of Irrational Games’ BioShock Infinite constitute one of the most powerful games in recent memory. Or, it’s an over-hyped heap of nonsense, depending on who you ask. Regardless, the game is inspiring some pretty fantastic fan art, as made clear by Irrational’s first "Weekly Fan Art Roundup."
If you’re sitting on some sick creativity of your own, Irrational Games wants your submissions! Hit up the studio’s official blog–there’s an email address for submissions (fanart [at] irrationalgames.com). You’ll need to include a name, a link to the artwork (no attachments accepted), and a few words on your inspiration for the piece and any meaning behind it. Pretty simple stuff for the chance to have your creation honored by the house that Ken Levine built!
Take a look at some stunning examples of BioShock Infinite fan art below, and sound off in the comments with your thoughts on this Game of the Year contender. If you have any video game fan art you’d like to share with PSU–for a chance to be feature on our homepage!–send them along to [email protected]
