Namco Bandai has revealed the retailer bonus items for its upcoming tactical action-adventure game Enslaved: Odyssey to the West. In addition to the bonuses listed below, premium post-launch DLC will be available after the game is launched in October.
DLC packs that include alternate versions of main characters Monkey or Trip will provide visually distinct outfits, but also provide unique functional advantages. Customers who pre-order from EB Games Canada and GameStop will receive a code for deadly, ebony-clad “Ninja Monkey.” This will provide rare stun plasma staff blast ammo.
Walmart and Walmart Canada will offer “Classic Monkey,” for pre-orders, providing homage to the game’s classic Chinese novel influence. In addition to the red and gold emblem, the DLC provides extra melee damage for Monkey.
If you pre-order from Best Buy U.S. and Canada, you get the “Sexy Robot Trip,” a mesh of Trip’s feminine and technologies wiles. In addition to the visual differences, the duration of your stun moves will be doubled.
Amazon customers will have exclusive access to the official soundtrack. Future Shop Canada and Target will offer retail packages with a 40-page mini-comic focusing on Monkey and Trip’s origins.
The game is in development by Ninja Theory and is slated for release on consoles this coming October.
