In an interview with The Guardian, game director Todd Howard was asked about his history with the Fallout franchise, the development of Fallout 4, and some of the things that fans can expect to see in Bethesda’s highly anticipated title. One of the most notable comments made by Howard was this:
“You can avoid [killing] a lot. I can’t tell you that you can play the whole game without violence – that’s not necessarily a goal of ours – but we want to support different play styles as much as we can.”
Among other things, the Fallout games are revered for their plethora of options and player choice. It seems that Bethesda is going even further in the direction of letting gamers play how they want to in Fallout 4.
Fallout 4 is set to release on November 10 later this year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
