Bethesda has announced that Fallout: New Vegas is getting a collector’s edition available for pre-order. The collector’s edition comes full of Vegas inspired goodies, in addition to the game itself.

The collector’s edition includes Lucky 7 poked chips. These seven poker chips replicate the chips from the major casinos found on the New Vegas strip and Mojave Wasteland. You’ll also get a fully customized New Vegas deck of cards, with each card uniquely illustrated to depict characters and factions found in the game. You can play any card game you want, or Caravan, an original game created by Obsidian.

In addition to a recreation of the game’s highly coveted Lucky 38 platinum chip, you’ll also get a hardcover graphic novel, All Roads, which tells the story of some of the game’s characters and events. The book was written by Chris Avellone, the game’s creative director, and created in conjunction with Dark Horse Comics.

Finally, you’ll get The Making of Fallout: New Vegas DVD which documents the creation of the game, from interviews with developers to concept art.

“We’re offering this very cool collector’s edition to give fans the opportunity to own some of the items that they’ll discover while playing Fallout: New Vegas,” said Pete Hines, vice president of PR and marketing. “We are also expanding their experience with the game by including a top-notch graphic novel worthy of the Fallout name and a DVD that gives them a behind-the-scenes look at how the game was created.”

The game is slated for a fall 2010 release on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. The collector’s edition will be available worldwide and retailers should start taking preorders shortly.
