A Fallout TV Show is coming to Amazon Prime from the creators of Westworld, Lisa Joy and Jonathon Nolan.

The TV show has just been teased by Amazon in a short video and will be created in collaboration with Bethesda Games Studios.

According to Deadline, the show has taken months of dealmaking to come together and will be produced by Nolan and Joy’s production company Kilter Films.

Not much is known about the Fallout TV show, but Joy and Nolan did offer a statement on the collaboration (via Deadline)

Fallout is one of the greatest game series of all time. Each chapter of this insanely imaginative story has cost us countless hours we could have spent with family and friends. So we’re incredibly excited to partner with Todd Howard and the rest of the brilliant lunatics at Bethesda to bring this massive, subversive, and darkly funny universe to life with Amazon Studios.”

Todd Howard from Bethesda also highlighted the long struggle it has been to get Fallout onto the screen in the right way.

“Over the last decade, we looked at many ways to bring Fallout to the screen,” said Howard, Executive Producer at Bethesda Game Studios. “But it was clear from the moment I first spoke with Jonah and Lisa a few years ago, that they and the team at Kilter were the ones to do it right. We’re enormous fans of their work and couldn’t be more excited to work with them and Amazon Studios.”

Bethesda also released a blog post on the new collaboration, discussing the history of Kilter Films and why they chose to partner with them.

The show is likely not even in pre-production yet, but you can watch the confirmation and small teaser video below:
