A recent survey by VoucherCodesPro has revealed that FIFA 13 has been attributed to playing a part in 1 in 10 recent break-ups.
The survey questioned 1,124 newly-single individuals, 12 per cent of who “specifically mentioned” EA Sports’ acclaimed footie outing as a contribution factor to the decline of their relationship.
Furthermore, of the 12 per cent who called out FIFA 13, nearly half claimed that their relationship woes was due to the gamer spending more time on the virtual pitch than with their partner. 31 per cent meanwhile said FIFA 13 had caused a ‘change in mood’ within the relationship.
It wasn’t just down to blokes, either. 13 per cent of FIFA 13 fanatics were female gamers.
