Final Fantasy 15 is series’ second-fastest selling game, but FIFA 17 is still no.1

Final Fantasy 15 has debuted in second place on the U.K. All Format Chart, becoming the second-fastest title in the venerated RPG franchise to date.

Only Final Fantasy XIII on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 has proven to be a faster seller than the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One JRPG, which hit stores worldwide last Tuesday following a lengthy and arduous production cycle. Sadly, the game didn’t have quite enough punch to dethrone FIFA 17, which is sitting pretty at the top of the charts for another week.

The Top 5 has seen a bit of a shuffle, with Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare dropping to no.3, Battlefield 1 rising to no.4, and Forza Horizon 3 hitting no.5

Elsewhere, Ubisoft’s open-world sports outing, Steep, makes its chart debut at a rather lacklustre no.24, with Battleborn re-entering the charts at no.40 presumably down to GAME’s massive discount on the title, allowing you to pick it up for just £3.99.
