Square Enix have revealed that Final Fantasy XV will finally be released this year, on September the 30th. It’s sure to be a breath of fresh of air for fans of the game, the game’s ridiculously long development time means we’ve been waiting almost 10 years for its release.
In that time, Call of Duty has released has 10 titles, Avalon has completed 2 quests on https://www.royalvegascasino.com/ and the Uncharted series has started and ended!
Anticipation for the title turned into elation, as heaps of information has started to emerge from Square Enix, Japan. It’s not just the game for fans to be raving about, as there’ll also be a movie. And as if it couldn’t get any better, there’s an incredible voice cast for the movie that includes Aaron Paul, Lena Headey, and Sean Bean…
…As well as a five-part anime series. Worth the wait or what!
Final Fantasy XV is certainly shaping up to unlike any Final Fantasy game we’ve seen. Even Florence and the Machine are getting involved, producing the the main theme tune – a cover of the classic ‘Stand By Me’ by Ben E King. The release is set to be unprecedented, a modern open-world action game with a prevalent brotherly theme.
It’s sure been a long wait for fans; Final Fantasy XV was initially announced back in 2006 as Final Fantasy Versus XIII. This was one of several titles included in the Fabula Nova Crystallis series. There have been few games in the mini-universe released, such as the Final Fantasy 13 games, however, Versus went experienced a period of troubled development.
Perseverance is required in the the game, and the developers also persevered, as after a quiet few years Square Enix eventually re-introduced Versus XIII as Final Fantasy 15 at E3 2013. The project had evolved progressed considerably, and became a core, numbered entry in the series. Final Fantasy XV will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. There is yet to official announcement of a PC version, although there have been references to Steam and Windows 10 versions, spotted by eagle-eyed fans.
The March event revealed high resolution images from Final Fantasy XV, showing off the games stunning graphics and awesome locations. We can’t wait until September!
