Square Enix has officially announced that the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series will be coming to PS4 and Nintendo Switch in Spring 2023. The remaster series was previously outed in a rating on the Entertainment Software Rating’s Board last week.
The Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series will feature Final Fantasy I, Final Fantasy II, Final Fantasy III, Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy V and Final Fantasy VI, and will be available as a bundle or separately. You’ll be able to choose from a Standard and Final Fantasy 35th Anniversary Edition for physical versions.
The 35th Anniversary Edition will include the following:
- Final Fantasy I-VI Pixel Remaster Collection – Physical collection of all games for either PlayStation 4 or Switch
- Anniversary Edition goods box
- A bonus lenticular sleeve for the game package
- Two-disc vinyl record set featuring newly arranged game music with exclusive cover artwork by Kazuko Shibuya
- A specially compiled artbook showcasing beautiful character pixel art
- Eight stylized pixel art character figures in window packaging
Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series is scheduled for release in Spring 2023 for PS4 and Switch.
